Vocals, vocals and more vocals. Entrenched in the NJ/NY music scene, Dave plays drums, guitar and sings in about 7 or 8 bands. Actually we don’t know how many he’s in because he’s in a lot! And for good reason! His vocals. He is one of the most sought after musicians in the area and has gained the reputation as one the best singers in northern New Jersey. Big range and a vocal powerhouse, his love of Alice in Chains is what set POE in motion.

Another northern NJ music scene veteran, Neil has been playing the area for years. As a lead singing, lead guitar player, he was the perfect fit and first choice for the “Jerry Cantrell” seat for POE. His ability to sing lead as well as find those difficult AIC harmony lines, blend perfectly with Dave’s vocals and truly captures the soul of AIC.

Jim is also a veteran of the NJ club scene having handled guitars and backing vocals in a Seattle scene cover band in the mid 90’s through early 00’s. After a long hiatus from gigging,  he has decided to return and vows to stay for good. His love of everything AIC combined with his decades of guitar experience and ability to contribute vocally make him a glove fit for this project.

Phil was a mainstay in the 80’s and 90’s punk scene in NY/NJ area. His love of music grew into a love of mixing live music. Phil was and continues to be the sound man in a number of Dave’s other bands. POE needed a bass player (and a name for that matter) and Phil not only had a bass, he had an ACOUSTIC bass! ‘Nuff said! He joined the band AND… came up with the name. 🙂
